A common question asked by DeBra's customers about Spanx shapewear is “does one need to wear underwear beneath shapewear”. Spanx shapewear comes with a cotton gusset, so if you are comfortable enough without underwear, our recommendation is to skip it. The point of shapewear is to create a seamless line beneath your clothing and by wearing underwear you will unnecessarily add an extra layer of fabric.
